The EvOsx86 team has graciously translated their DSDT app, “DSDTSE” to English recently. For people looking to get into DSDT editing, this is a wonderful toolset to get you started.
You can easily extract your dsdt, natively open *.aml files, use DSDT fix references, calculate hex, etc.
